Friday traffic is unpredictable on the 405 freeway, highway CA-133 (the main access road east to the coast from the freeway) and Pacific Coast Highway (alternate route from adjacent beach cities to the north or south).
We are working on some transportation options - stay tuned.
We strongly recommend that guests plan to arrive in Laguna Beach before 3:00pm Friday to avoid the worst traffic and allow time for parking and checking into accommodations.
Carpool! Limited free or metered street parking is available in the neighborhoods around our venues.
Rideshare on us! Use our Lyft guest code to schedule a ride!
Take the free trolley! Provided by the city of Laguna Beach. The route stops a couple of blocks shy of the cross-street for the ceremony, but otherwise it runs directly to our other events and accommodations.
Walk! To many fun locations and beautiful beaches near our venue.
0Outdoor park atop the cliffs overlooking the ocean.
Smoking, glass containers, open flames and pets are prohibited.
Expect to be in a small open-air amphitheater. It will likely be sunny and breezy.
The seating area is not shaded. If it's unusually hot, we will provide hand-held umbrellas for shade.
Seating consists of stone benches in the amphitheater. We will provide cushions. Please let us know if you need more supportive seating or space for a wheelchair. Our permit allows for a few seats of this type.
Accessibility: Guests will need to walk about 300 feet from the drop-off curb to the seating area. The pathways are paved sidewalks and slightly inclined. No stairs required. We may stand/walk in the grass or adjacent hard gravel paths to take photos after the ceremony. Comfortable shoes are recommended. If this level of activity would be challenging for any guests, please let us know and we will arrange a more comfortable way to get from the curb to the seating area.
Indoor fine dining with climate control
Metered street parking out front and public paid parking lot available within one block
Or rideshare on us! Use our Lyft code for door-to-door service.
Smoking and pets are prohibited.
Accessibility: First floor, no stairs. Entrance and restroom are wheelchair accessible.
The reception will take place outside in mostly shaded areas, but if it's very hot, the cottages are air-conditioned, and there will be some seating available inside if you need a break.
Smoking and pets are prohibited.
Accessibility: There's not much walking required, but the terrain does vary from grass to inclined sidewalk to brick patio with a couple of shallow steps. Comfortable shoes recommended. If this level of activity would be challenging for any guests, please let us know and we will make sure you have assistance for your comfort.

303 Broadway
Saturday open-house reception

The ceremony will be outdoors in an area without shade. It may be sunny or breezy.
The average temp at this time of year and hour is 74 degrees, but it can be in the 80s if we are having a hot, dry spell.
Comfortable shoes recommended.
Guests will need to walk on concrete sidewalk or hard gravel paths for about 300 feet from parking/drop off to seating.
We may also walk or stand on the lawn for photos.
Same dress code for our dinner party immediately afterward at the restaurant,
which has an ambience of "fine dining."
Festive casual.
Vintage artsy vibes of "Old Laguna" perhaps? Or your best Hawaiian shirt? Colorful and fun with a touch of glamor or novelty.
We hope you'll go explore Laguna and come back to the party as your home base for the afternoon.
We will take a professional group photo with everyone who is present at 3:00!
Comfortable shoes recommended.
Our party will be staged all throughout the yards and cottages, which are quite close together. Not much walking required, but you will be moving around on several surfaces - grassy lawn, sidewalk/asphalt, brick patio, short steps, dance floor!
It's likely to be in the high 70s and sunny. Shaded seating will be available outdoors.
The cottages are air-conditioned and will be open for indoor seating.
If you hang out with us until sunset, bring a hoodie or jacket.
It can be cool or windy at the beach.
No registry. We treasure our time spent with you. In lieu of traditional gifts, we’d really love a card with a favorite photo, story, memory or recipe to remind us of our connection with you.
We love Laguna for the art and the outdoor beauty - so much to explore within walking or very short driving distance. The city has an excellent Visitor's Guide with maps and itineraries. Here are some of Kevin and Laurel's recommendations:
Nice small waves, semi-pro beach volleyball, quiet and family-friendly areas just off the main beach, rock formations and tide pools.
Our ceremony site on Friday at Crescent Point is just one of a dozen pocket parks and scenic outlooks that run along the coast. There are staircases up to the cliffs from the beach every few blocks, or you can walk out from PCH on the cliff level.
World-class galleries open to the public on almost every block. Our favorite section in North Laguna runs on PCH from Aster (Urth Caffe on the corner) north a few blocks. But you can find them all along PCH south of downtown, and on Forest Avenue downtown. There's also an excellent art museum.
Check out the Pacific Marine Mammal rescue center on Laguna Canyon Road (you drove past it on your way into town on CA-133).
Just a few minutes up the big hill from our cottages/reception! It has a big playground, tennis/pickleball and shade trees.
Right next to the Alta Laguna Park is the Top of the World scenic view and trailhead for several easy-to-hard foothill hikes.
A lovely state park just a few minutes north of Laguna, on both sides of PCH.
On Forest Ave.
Nirvana Kitchen or Nick's.
The Taco Stand or Gina's (but all the pizza around here is good)
Active Culture is good if you like healthy veggie bowls or acai.
South of Nick's (swanky) or Hennessey's (classic pub)
Rooftop Lounge (or any other rooftop bar on one of the many hotels along the beach)
Sandpiper Lounge (dive bar, live music)
The Drake (upscale, jazz)
Le Macaron or South Swell for hand-dipped ice cream bars
Urth Caffe or Laguna Coffee Co (and yes there is a Starbucks across from the main beach)
Whole Foods (downtown) or Ralphs (on PCH walking distance from Laguna Cottages reception venue)
Onsite
